After a long pause, the Astrophysics seminar restarted at the Faculty of Physics. A hybrid (online + in-person) series of lectures will be held during the second semester of the Academic Year 2021-2022.

The Research Project CNCSIS RP 4/2009, funded by Romanian authorities is successfully completed. The Computational Astrophysics Laboratory is functional and few students have already performed their diploma thesis research in this field.

Cu mic, cu mare... prin Univers    - 3-4/10/2010
The first edition of a new, large-scale outreach event is organized at the Faculty of Physics by the teaching staff and enthusiastic students in Astrophysics. More than 1000 visitors from Bucharest surroundings have participated to lectures, exhibits and contests organized with the help of several sponsors. The research institutes in Magurele were also visited.
